Rangers are set to hand Hearts the title as bizarre transfer offer is submitted
Rangers have had a busy winter transfer window to date as they look to bring in key reinforcements to win the Scottish Premiership title.
So far, Danny Rohl’s side have brought in three new faces, with the Old Firm outfit just four points behind Hearts at the summit.
However, the Glaswegians remain on the hunt for a new striker, and Rangers have recently shown interest in Ryan Naderi, who plays for Hansa Rostock.
Yet, after the Gers saw a bid rejected, they have now submitted another baffling offer to try and win the striker’s signature before the window closes.
Rangers submit £2.6m bid for Ryan Naderi with loan back included
According to BILD on 31 January, Rangers have submitted a £2.6million bid for Naderi.
While the striker is happy to leave the German third-tier side, he wants to stay at Hansa Rostock until the end of the season to help with their promotion push.
This is seemingly something that Rohl is willing to facilitate, with Rangers prepared to loan Naderi back to Rostock until the end of the season.
While their sporting director, Amir Shapourzadeh, is refusing to greenlight the move at the moment, if it does go through in the current conditions, it would simply be baffling.

Why Rangers would be prepared to let the striker go back to Rostock on loan when they need him now for the title battle is crazy.
Therefore, if this is permitted to happen without another attacker coming in, it would essentially gift Hearts the Scottish Premiership title, with the Gers’ lack of a clinical striker being their downfall.
Who else are Rangers linked with?
If Rohl is not able to sign Naderi, he does have other options prepared.
Rangers have recently been linked with Southampton striker Cameron Archer.
The former Aston Villa star has struggled in the Championship this season with the Saints, and has only netted twice in the second tier.
Nevertheless, the 24-year-old remains an option for the Gers as they look to fix their attacking issues once and for all.
However, it remains to be seen if Rangers are able to bring anyone in before the winter window closes, with only days left for Rohl to complete any more additional signings.
