Rangers backed to accept ‘unbelievable’ Glen Kamara bid after source’s reveal – Hutton

Alan Hutton has backed Rangers to sell Glen Kamara for £10million in January.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers right-back said getting £10m for the 26-year-old would be an “unbelievable price”.

On Sunday (25 September), sources told this site that the Light Blues are willing to sell Kamara in January after talks over a late-summer move to Nice collapsed.

The French club tried to push a deadline day deal over the line but an agreement could not be reached before the cut-off.

The midfielder currently has three years left on his Ibrox contract after signing an extension last year.

The Gers believe the Finland international could command a fee of at least £10million.

When asked if Rangers should cash in on Kamara at that price, Hutton told Football Insider: “I think so.

They’ve obviously got a number in mind, £10m seems about right.

Don’t get me wrong it’s money well spent, they only forked out £50k for him, to get £10m in I think is an unbelievable price. Me personally, I don’t want to see any good players leave the club, especially with the direct they’re moving in, Champions League and so on so I’d like to see him stay.

If he feels that his future is elsewhere you want the most money in and I think £10m would be acceptable.

Rangers

Kamara has made ten appearances for the Bears across all competitions so far this season.

In those outings he has provided one assist.
