Rangers make two behind-the-scenes changes ahead of summer spree

As revealed by Football Insider, Rangers have identified three positions that they will improve over the summer window.

Gers are expected to strike deals for a new left-back, central midfielder and striker ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

The board are eager to back Philippe Clement after his superb start as manager this season.

They currently sit second in the Scottish Premiership table behind arch-rivals Celtic, but they boast a game in hand which could send them top.

Should Gers win the league this season, their transfer budget is expected to inflate due to Champions League qualification.

Football Insider was told by former CEO Keith Wyness that Rangers “will invest” an extra £20million if they secure Champions League football next season.
