Rangers confirmed line-up v Motherwell: Caixinha makes two changes

By Dominic Toner

Rangers have made two changes to their starting XI for the league clash against Motherwell on Saturday.

The Gers host Motherwell at Ibrox and will be looking for a victory following the international break.

Pedro Caixinha has decided to make two alterations to his side from the team that beat Hamilton 4-0 in their last game.

Defensive pair Rob Kiernan and Lee Hodson have come into the side and will hope to make a positive impact.

Meanwhile, the suspended James Tavernier and the injured Danny Wilson have been forced out.

Rangers have announced their starting line-up on their official Twitter account.

Caixinha enjoyed a fantastic start during his first game in charge against Hamilton and will hope for a similar performance this weekend.

They are under pressure to earn the three points after second-placed Aberdeen secured a resounding 7-0 victory over Dundee on Friday night.

The result means that they are 11 points adrift of Aberdeen and now face a huge battle to claw back that gap.

Rangers will be encouraged by the fact they earned a 2-0 away victory against Motherwell in the last meeting and will have home support this time around.

Meanwhile, they could watch their bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic clinch the title this weekend if they win on Sunday against Hearts.

In other Rangers team news, Caixinha has named the clever player he wants to be at the club next season.
