Agbonlahor makes 'huge' Rangers claim after 'dressing room' eruption revealed
Steven Gerrard will have “hammered his team” after recent results – and that will elicit a “huge” positive reaction from the Rangers players.
So says ex-Premier League hitman Gabby Agbonlahor, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Scottish champions’ nosedive in form.
Gerrard‘s side have lost their last three matches and were dumped out of the Champions League by Malmo in the process.
Rangers went undefeated in the Scottish Premiership last season and their loss against Dundee United on 7 August was their first in 41 league games.
But Agbonlahor predicts that Rangers will get back to winning ways this weekend against Dunfermline.
“I think there will be a huge reaction,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.

“Gerrard will have been furious and hammered his team in the dressing room after the last couple of games.
“The character that he is, he’ll have laid into them. He’ll say the results they have seen recently won’t win back-to-back titles.
“So I see there being a positive reaction from Rangers. The sort of manager that he is and the sort of player that he was, he won’t accept those last few games.
“He’ll make sure they are back on track with a win at the weekend because he knows it’s not been good enough.”
Rangers will enter the Europa League at the final play-off stage after their Champions League exit.
They reached the round of 16 in last season’s edition of the competition before being bested by Slavia Prague.
