Rangers manager Graeme Murty is expected to make six changes to the side which drew with Celtic on December 30 when the Gers face Atletico Mineiro in the Florida Cup.
Bruno Alves, Ross McCrorie, Wes Foderingham, Jason Holt, Niko Kranjcar and Daniel Candeias are all expected to make way as Murty is likely to give some of his fringe men and new signings a run out against the Brazilians.
Jak Alnwick, Fabio Cardoso, Sean Goss, Andy Halliday, Michael O’Halloran and Jamie Murphy are all expected to come in as replacements as the Gers step up their preparations for the second-half of the Scottish Premiership season.
Goalkeeper Alnwick is expected to come into the starting XI behind a back four of James Tavernier, Danny Wilson, Cardoso and Declan John.
Murty is expected to name an entirely new-look midfield with Goss and Halliday deployed centrally with Murphy and O’Halloran taking up berths on either flank.
Halliday and O’Halloran have just returned from loan while Goss and Murphy are new signings for the Gers.
Ahead of them, Josh Windass is expected to slot in as a number 10 with Alfredo Morelos leading the line for the Ibrox side.
Murty is likely to make a number of changes throughout the game and make use of his squad ahead of their second game in the Florida Cup against Corinthians on Saturday.
In other Rangers transfer news, the club are working on beating Celtic to the signing of a 22-year-old goal machine ripping up the league.
