Rangers expected XI v Partick: Attacker among two regular starters axed
Wes Foderingham (Goalkeeper) – There is little doubt that the Ibrox No1 will take his customary place in goal at Firhill.
James Tavernier (Right-back) – The defender has been one of Rangers’ outstanding players this season and, despite giving away the penalty against Hibernian, can be expected to start once again.
David Bates (Centre-back) – The youngster has made such progress in recent months that Rangers were willing to allow Danny Wilson to head to the MLS in the January window.
Russell Martin (Centre-back) – Martin was a seriously shrewd signing for Murty, and he will make a real impact for Rangers during the remainder of the season. His leadership qualities and experience are key to a solid defence, and that in turn is key for Rangers in the coming months.
Declan John (Left-back) – The former Cardiff loanee, whose deal was made permanent in January, has made such an impact that it will be difficult for skipper Lee Wallace to regain his regular starting role.
