Rangers fans all say same thing about Nedim Bajrami after what they saw

Rangers fans were unhappy with manager Philippe Clement after his decision to play Nedim Bajrami out of position in their 3-0 League Cup win over Dundee FC.

The 25-year-old, who joined in a £3.5million transfer deadline deal from Italian side Sassuolo, has played in the number 10 position throughout his career.

Instead, Clement, 50, decided to stick the Albania international out on the left wing in order to accommodate underfire playmaker Tom Lawrence.

Thankfully for Clement, Cyriel Dessers was on hand to secure the win in their first game back at Ibrox following construction delays.

The Nigeria international caught out Trevor Carson in the Dundee goal with a clever flick-on from captain James Tavernier’s long-range effort.

Tavernier then got his goal from the penalty spot after Dessers was brought down after a similar incident to double their lead.

The striker then combined with Bajrami, latching onto the Albanian’s cross to score his second goal of the night, securing an impressive 3-0 victory and sending them to the next round.
