Rangers fans do not want to see Borna Barisic play for the club again after his “woeful” performance against Kilmarnock on Wednesday evening (28 February).
The Gers fought back in the second half after a nervy start to beat the Killies 2-1 at Rugby Park courtesy of a 55th-minute goal from James Tavernier and a Tom Lawrence winner just four minutes later.
While Rangers remained at the top of the league with the victory, Barisic was widely slammed for a dreadful opening 45 minutes before manager Philippe Clement hauled him off at the break for Ridvan Yilmaz.
The 31-year-old was slaughtered for failing to cope against Kilmarnock’s attackers and not showing enough commitment.
Barisic failed to make a single tackle, lost possession 16 times and made just 18 accurate passes in a first half to forget.

His contract is set to expire at the end of the season and, as revealed by Football Insider (15 February), he is ready to quit and earn a bumper contract away from Ibrox.
Supporters have taken to social media to react to Barisic’s “embarrassing” outing, and many are hopeful that they will never see him in a Rangers shirt again.
