Rangers winger Dalcio has not had the best of starts at Ibrox.

He has only featured three times for Rangers since joining on loan from Benfica.

He made his debut in the 1-0 victory over Progres Niederorn at Ibrox in Europa League qualifying, and featured in the 2-0 defeat in Luxembourg the following week.

His only league appearance so far came in the 90th minute of a 4-1 victory over Hamilton.

The man who signed him, Pedro Caixinha, has since been sacked.

He hasn’t featured for Rangers at all since Graeme Murty took over as caretaker manager at Ibrox, after Caixinha was dismissed last month.

However, tonight he played for Rangers youth against Berwick Rangers in a friendly and he opened the scoring in the game.

Dalcio made his initial breakthrough with Belenenses, before joining Benfica in 2015.

He played 33 games for Benfica B last season, he hasn’t as yet featured for the Benfica first team.

Rangers, still under the interim management of Graeme Murty, return to action against Hamilton this weekend as the Scottish Premiership returns from the international break.

It remains to be seen if Dalcio will be involved.
