Rangers fans rage as transfer update emerges at Ibrox

Rangers fans have been left fuming after talks over a move to sign Sevilla midfielder Joan Jordan fell through despite positive reports.

A new report claimed the club have now withdrawn from their pursuit of the Spaniard despite weeks of links and negotiations between the clubs.

Philippe Clement is desperately in need of improvements to his squad after a disappointing pre-season campaign in which Rangers have failed to win a game.

This has led to frustration amongst fans given the lack of backing in the transfer market while results on the pitch have done little to ease their concerns.

Following this latest transfer update, those concerns have spiked once more, with supporters raging at the club and the recruitment team.

Rangers fans rage as ‘shambles’ transfer update emerges at Ibrox

Rangers have had a busy summer so far, but the lack of first-team-ready recruits and lack of major investment has rendered the incoming deals flat as far as fans are concerned.

Clinton Nsiala, Liam Kelly and Connor Barron all arrived for free, Vaclav Cerny has arrived on loan, while Hamza Igamane and Jefte cost less than £3million combined.

After pulling out of the race to sign Jordan on loan, Rangers fans have labelled their recruitment a “shambles”, “disappointing” and a waste of time.

In other news, Rangers fans are insisting James Tavernier is done at Ibrox after what happened.
