Ronaldo sleeps in his pyjamas: Rangers fans in meltdown over 24-yr-old display v St Johnstone
Rangers attacker Josh Windass kept up his recent goalscoring form as he grabbed his tenth goal in seven games for the Gers in Tuesday’s 4-1 win over St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.
Gers fans were delighted with the attacker after getting on the end of a brilliant pass from Greg Docherty to fire beyond Allan Mannus.
The former Accrington star has been in fantastic form under Graeme Murty will all but one of his goals this season coming since Murty replaced Pedro Caixinha as manager in October.
Gers fans were in meltdown on Twitter over Windass’ display against the Saints – with one fan saying Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo “sleeps in Windass pyjamas.”
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:
If Windass got injured, who do we have that would replace him and have a similar impact?

With Windass in this scoring form I fully expect to see Messi throw the toys out the pram and refuse to sign a new contract at Barca until they put in a £40m bid.. ????

Windass recently signed a new deal to keep him at Ibrox until the summer of 2021 to the relief of Rangers fans who are desperate to keep the in-form star at the club.
The 24-year-old was reportedly the subject of interest from a number of Championship clubs in the January transfer window although the Gers were unwilling to sell the attacker.
Windass has scored 16 times and created eight goals in 33 appearances for the Glasgow giants after a phenomenal second season with the Light Blues.
The Englishman’s first season in Scotland was a disappointment as the star was played in a central midfield role regularly.
