Rangers fans react on Twitter after Chris Sutton provocation with Celtic claim

BT Sport pundit Chris Sutton has attempted to provoke Rangers fans by claiming “all of Scotland” will be cheering on Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Sutton made the comment on his personal Twitter account as he Tweeted details of BT Sports’ coverage of the Hoops tie.

Fans of Celtic’s bitter rivals were quick to take the bait and respond to the pundit and weren’t having any of it – with one supporting commenting that the Thursday fixtures do the Hoops “no favours” after dropping points against St. Johnstone following last week’s first leg.
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

The Hoops take a 1-0 lead into the second leg against Roberto Mancini’s side through Callum McGregor’s strike.
With the Russians only just returning to competitive action, Brendan Rodgers’ side must surely fancy their chances of getting the result they need to qualify for the last 16 of a European competition for the first time in five years.
Celtic’s slip up against St. Johnstone has allowed rivals Rangers to close the gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership to nine points.
Rodgers made seven changes to his side for the Saints clash to keep players fresh for the trip to Russia to face Zenit.
In other Celtic news, Eboue Kouassi has no fears about returning to Russia
