Include £8m+ release clause: Rangers fans react to contract talks with first-team ace

Rangers have opened contract talks with in-form attacker Josh Windass – and Gers fans are delighted to see the Light Blues move to tie the 22-year-old down but want it done quickly.
The Gers have moved to offer new terms after interest from a number of Championship clubs, as exclusively revealed by Football Insider.
Gers boss Graeme Murty confirmed the Gers have held informal talks, as quoted by The Herald, after the first-team ace scored five times in his last 11 appearances.
Gers fans are desperate for the club to secure on of their key men to a longer deal and end any speculation over his future. with one saying that the Glasgow club should include a release clause worth over £8million.

The 22-year-old joined the Gers in 2016 from Accrington Stanley after his contract with the League Two side ended.
In his first season at Ibrox, Windass struggled to impress in an unfamiliar central midfield role before being pushed out wide by Pedro Caixinha this term.
Since Graeme Murty’s appointment in October, Windass has found himself used as a second striker and has led to the best run of for since joining the Ibrox giants.
Windass’ current Ibrox deal ends in 2020.
