Rangers fans react on Twitter to hilarious Josh Windass post about Hibernian win

Rangers attacker Josh Windass posted a hilarious tweet after Rangers snatched a 2-1 win away to Hibs on Wednesday night – and Gers fans on Twitter were absolutely loving it.

The former Accrington Stanley star posted a cartoon of a burglar with the caption “hope no one sees us” after the Gers scored twice in four minutes to steal three points from Neil Lennon’s side.

Windass grabbed the Gers’ equaliser with a fantastic finish in the 43rd minute to take his recent goal-scoring tally to five goals in eight games.

Gers fans applauded the 23-year-old’s performance against Hibs – and couldn’t get enough if his tongue-in-cheek tweet.

Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

Windass has been largely disappointing since moving to Ibrox last year from Accrington with Matt Crooks.

The 23-year-old spent much of last season playing as a central midfielder before being moved out to the left wing at the start of this season.

Windass’ recent form has won around many of his doubters and fans hope the attacker can continue in over the long-term and make himself an invaluable player for the Ibrox giants.

Windass has scored six times in 21 appearances this season after only hitting the net once in 27 games last term.
