'The biggest coward of the lot' - Rangers fans react to attacker display against Celtic
By Alex Stevens
Joe Dodoo was recalled to the Rangers starting XI in their 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Celtic – and Light Blues fans took to Twitter to deliver mixed verdicts on his performance.
The striker was named in the team for the Ibrox showdown in place of Joe Garner but lasted just 45 minutes before he was replaced at half-time by Andy Halliday.
The decision to take off the 21-year-old attacker mystified many supporters, especially as Rangers were already 2-0 down at the break and chasing the game.
Midfielder Halliday came on for Dodoo as Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha tried to bolster his team in the middle of the park.
Supporters were unimpressed by the decision, with one claiming Caixinha is “the biggest coward of the lot” as he went for “damage limitation”.

Dodoo has showed glimpses of ability during his debut season at Rangers after joining from Leicester last summer.
The forward has scored five goals and provided three assists from 22 matches in all competitions.
The hammering at Ibrox comes just six days after the Glasgow rivals played the Scottish Cup semi-final, which was comfortably won 2-0 by Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Celtic have already retained the title and have now destroyed third-placed Rangers’ hopes of overhauling Aberdeen in the race to finish second.
In other Rangers transfer news, Caixinha has made emphatic decisions on four players ahead of the summer window.
