Rangers fans react on Twitter to Halliday starting v Motherwell
By Dominic Toner
Andy Halliday kept his place in the starting XI against Motherwell – and the Rangers fans were furious with the decision on Twitter.
The 25-year-old is a regular starter this season for the Gers and retained his place for Saturday’s Scottish Premiership clash with Motherwell.
Mark Warburton has made two changes with James Tavernier and Emerson Hyndman coming into the side, while Lee Hodson and Jason Holt miss out.
The Ibrox outfit beat Motherwell 2-1 in their last game in the Scottish Cup fourth-round and will be hoping for similar success in the league.
Rangers fans did voice their frustration that Halliday continues to get into the starting XI.

To be honest, I'll never be happy with a Rangers team that involves Kiernan, Tav and Halliday. All of them, to a man, are garbage.

The Scotsman predominately plays as a defensive midfielder and likes to try dictate possession.
He is under pressure from supporters to deliver a good performance on Saturday and could find his starting position under threat in the second half of the season.
