Rangers fans react on Twitter to Kiernan display v Motherwell
By Dominic Toner
Rob Kiernan played 90 minutes against Motherwell on Saturday – and the club’s supporters were critical of his performance on Twitter.
The 26-year-old was recalled to the staring line-up by Pedro Caixinha and featured in the 1-1 draw against Motherwell.
Louis Moult put the visitors ahead in just the third minute, but substitute Joe Garner managed to salvage a point for the Gers in the second-half.
The result leaves them in third in the league table and means they are 10 points adrift of second-placed Aberdeen.
Rangers fans highlighted centre-back Kiernan for his display and were frustrated with his efforts.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:
Hodson – miles below average. Shouldn't even be a squad player.
Kiernan – no words required.
Wallace – never a Rangers captain.

Right if we lose, Let's just blame it on Kiernan being back in the team

Kiernan supposedly unreal in training. Just a car crash in matches

Kiernan returns and we concede within the first 5 minutes. Smashing.

Kiernan has been a regular in the side during most of the season and has made 31 appearances, scoring one goal in the process.
The centre-back faces tough competition for places and will hope to retain his spot for the next game against Kilmarnock.
Caixinha’s side now face an extremely tough battle to finish in second this campaign, but are likely to still finish in the European spots.
They have endured a frustrating first season back in the top flight and have been unable to compete with Celtic, who could clinch the league title on Sunday.
In other Rangers news, Caixinha has named the clever player he wants to be at the club next season.
