Rangers fans have been on Twitter reacting to Michael O’Halloran’s short appearance in the 2-1 win over Hearts at Ibrox on Sunday.
O’Halloran, 27, has been well out of favour since returning to Govan in January and made his first Scottish Premiership appearance of the campaign for the Gers when he made a late cameo against Hearts.
Graeme Murty threw the former St Johnstone attacker into the mix one minute into stoppage time to replace man of the match Daniel Candeias, and even though he was on the pitch for a mater of moments, fans still felt it necessary to react to his display – albeit some of them were perhaps being a bit sarcastic.
Here is a selection of their tweets:
Simply the best

Feel bad for O’halloran. Brought on for less than 2 minutes. The boy deserves a fair run in the team. #Rangers

Thought O’Halloran was the difference today, what we’ve been missing.

O’Halloran had not made a single appearance for Rangers before the win over Hearts, and there’s every chance that the 29-year-old will be off in the summer – even though he has two years left on his deal.
He was sent on loan to St Johnstone for the first half of the campaign, where he started well but soon saw his form nosedive.
The attacker scored five goals in 17 appearances across all competitions for the Perth side before his loan expired in January.
In other Rangers news, fans have raved about this 42-year-old and have urged the club to get him hired.
