Rangers defender Danny Wilson could be set for a move to Major League Soccer, according to a report, with two sides apparently chasing his signature.
According to the Daily Record, Sporting Kansas City and Colorado Rapids are both interested in taking Wilson across the Atlantic ahead of the MLS season kicking off in March.
The former Liverpool and Hearts defender is out of contract at the end of the season but is in talks with the Gers over extending his stay at Ibrox.
Fans were hopeful Wilson will remain at Ibrox after impressing since returning to the side under Graeme Murty – with one saying “the transfer window will be ruined” if the defender leaves

This transfer window will be ruined for me if we let Danny Wilson go

Imagine leaving Rangers to go to the MLS. Nah, I’m sorry but I just don’t believe Danny Wilson could be so stupid

If DANNY WILSON & DAVID BATES dont want to pledge their immediate futures to the club by agreeing contract extensions then MURTY shud seriously consider reducing their playing time. Why put them in shop window? BATES has only just broke thru FFS

Danny Wilson has been the best this season. Alves only really played two good games, wouldn’t lose sleep on Alves leaving

Rumours of interest in Danny Wilson today from the MLS. A year ago I wouldn't be saying this – but you can see what a run of games has done for his sharpness, positioning, confidence and all-round game. Wouldnt be happy to lose him.

Danny Wilson for MLS ? Would be surprised. Equally as I’ve stated numerous times. He has only started playing in his contract year and don’t think he’d be too difficult to replace.

Wilson has made 15 appearances for the Gers this season after being frozen out by former manager Pedro Caixinha but since returning to the side under Murty, Wilson has been one of the Gers top performers.
The in-form senior player is in his second spell with the Ibrox giants after breaking through as a 17-year-old before signing for Liverpool.
After making only a handful of appearances for the Anfield giants, Wilson signed for Hearts before eventually returning to Ibrox in 2015.
In other Rangers news, fans have reacted after this midfield dynamo underwent a medical to complete his switch.
