'Anything over £9m' - Rangers fans react as top-half club reportedly plot forward bid

Leeds United are reportedly preparing a bid for in-form Rangers forward Josh Windass and Gers fans on Twitter are having none of it.
According to the Daily Record, Leeds are prepared to better the £500,000 the Gers rejected from Preston for the former Accrington ace.
Windass is believed to be happy at Ibrox and Gers boss Graeme Murty recently confirmed that he has opened contract talks with the attacker.
Rangers fans want to keep the forward – who has scored five times in his last 11 appearances – at Ibrox unless the top-half English Championship club make a ridiculous bid, with one saying ‘anything over £9million’ would be ideal.
Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

Windass has been in arguably the best run of form of his Rangers career since Graeme Murty was appointed manager and impressed during the recent games against Brazilian sides Corinthians and Atletico Mineiro in the Florida Cup.
The 24-year-old is under contract until 2020 and has a release clause of £3.5million.
The former Accrington star has made 24 appearances for the Gers this season, scoring six times, and has only missed two games in the Scottish Premiership.
Windass will face much tougher competition for a place in the Gers’ starting XI in the second-half of the season after the arrivals of Jamie Murphy and Jason Cummings.
In other Rangers news, this £50,000-a-week forward eager to move to Ibrox is within 48 hours of a switch.
