Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to rave about Ryan Jack for his performance in the 2-1 loss against Dundee at Dens Park on Friday night.

Jack, 25, played all 90 minutes for the Light Blues as they slumped to defeat despite looking as though they would breeze the game after a solid first-half.

Mark O’Hara scored on either side of a Josh Windass goal to consign Graeme Murty’s men to their second defeat in a row.

The Gers faithful were very impressed with the ex-Aberdeen ace’s playmaking ability throughout the Friday night game even though he has had his fair share of critics in the early part of his Ibrox career.

There was one moment in the first-half when Jack played an inch-perfect through ball into the feet of Daniel Candeias, who should have really put Graeme Murty’s men ahead in the opening period when fed a one-on-one situation.

Fans were thrilled with Jack’s performance despite the defeat with one fan saying that he’s the “best” attacking player in the squad on the night.

Here is a selection of their tweets:

Jack has made 17 appearances across all competitions since joining the Light Blues in the summer but is yet to score a goal and has only supplied one assist.

He has been sent off a stunning three times already, although two of them have since been rescinded in what has been a very turbulent few months for the playmaker.

In other Rangers news, Celtic icon Chris Sutton has made a stunning admission about his claim about the Gers’ managers hunt.
