Rangers fans were distraught to see Holt start ahead of recent signing Greg Docherty with fans feeling the midfielder was “bullied” in Saturday’s clash with Hibs.

Clueless Murty. Holt over Docherty?! Did he not watch Holt get completely bullied on Saturday?

Holt? Windass? No Morelos or Docherty? Miller and Dodoo make the bench? pic.twitter.com/2lf0psX2Wr

I've said it before and I'll say it again – Jason Holt can be no where near the team if we are serious about mounting a challenge to Celtic.
Murty drops our top goalscorer who got very little service on Saturday but Holt and Windass keep their places.
I've seen enough.

The Gers could move to within three points of second-placed Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership with a win over the Jags.
Holt has been handed the captain’s armband in the absence of Lee Wallace recently but was taken off in the second-half of the defeat by Hibs as Murty made changes to push and win the game.
The midfielder joined Rangers in 2015 from Hearts for £65,000 and has made 105 appearances for the Ibrox side.
So far this term, Holt has made 23 appearances for the Gers, scoring once and contributing seven assists.
