Rangers fans have reacted on Twitter after Barcelona star Luis Suarez sent a message of support to the newly-appointed Ibrox boss Steven Gerrard.
Suarez and Gerrard both played together at Liverpool and the Uruguay international is the latest in a long line of the 37-year-old’s former team-mates to congratulate him on getting the job at Rangers.

Fancy joining him, Luis? Weather isn't actually that different and standard of football is actually better. Only issue is we're needing defenders so if you could slot in at CB that would be amazing.

According to Forbes, Suarez earned £12.7m last year, which equates to £244,000-a-week.
The former Liverpool striker was arguably one of the best strikers that Gerrard ever played alongside in his playing days.
During his spell at Anfield, the Uruguayan scored 82 goals in 133 total appearances.
He also helped Liverpool come the closest that they have done to winning the Premier League title while the now Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers was at Anfield.
The 31-year-old Barca striker has been in stunning form this season in Spain, scoring 29 goals and supplying 15 assists in 47 appearances across all competitions.
In other Rangers news, both the Gers and Celtic are in the running to sign this £100,000-a-week Premier League midfielder who will be available in the summer.
