Celtic fans react on Twitter as Rangers to reportedly sack Kenny Miller today

By Richard Parks

Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to express their delight at a report that Kenny Miller is to be sacked today following a dressing room bust-up with Graeme Murty.

The Scottish Sun claim the Glasgow giants are to immediately end the Ibrox career of striker Miller by paying up his contract – which expires in June – in full and showing him the exit door.

It is said that Rangers chiefs will also suspend skipper Lee Wallace in the wake of the “rammy” with Murty immediately after the 4-0 defeat to Celtic at Hampden Park on Sunday.

Miller, 38, — an unused sub in the game — is said to have questioned the authority of the interim manager in the changing room following a similar outburst from Wallace.

Murty was fuming at their conduct and has told the Rangers hierarchy that he wants them out of his squad for the final month of the season.

Celtic fans took to social media en masse to poke fun at the imminent exit of Miller, who had a spell at Parkhead earlier in his career as well as the three different spells at Ibrox.

One claimed he doesn’t think “I’ll ever stop laughing” and another admitted “I love this game” as Bhoys had a field day.
