'This is more like it' - Rangers fans react to supporters group statement

Rangers fans group Union Bears have announced plans to hold a protest at Sunday’s Scottish Premiership clash with Hearts – and it has been widely backed on Twitter following the 4-0 Scottish Cup defeat against Celtic last weekend.

The self-styled ‘ultras’ announced plans on Twitter to hold a silent protest during the meeting with Craig Levein’s side rather than providing their usual “colourful and vocal” backing.

Other fans were quick to get behind the idea and back the idea as they look to force the club into action over what they feel is a club being “obviously mismanaged.”

Here are some of their comments on Twitter:

The Light Blues are currently 13 points behind their bitter rivals Celtic in the league going into the final five games and are in a fight with Aberdeen and Hibernian to secure second place.

Sunday’s game with Hearts is going to be a very difficult atmosphere for the Light Blues to contend with as fans vent their anger at the shambolic scenes at the club at the moment.
