Rangers fans react to Toral display v Inverness
By Matt Farr
Rangers midfielder Jon Toral gave an unconvincing display during the 2-1 defeat to Inverness on Friday – and fans on Twitter were furious.
The Gers continued their miserable run of form with a shock 2-1 defeat to the Scottish Premiership’s bottom side, a defeat which saw them remain six points adrift of Aberdeen, and 30 points behind rivals Celtic.
The Scottish side, who are currently without a full-time manager, are now winless in four league games and devoid of confidence.
Fans on Twitter were understandably left raging at the overall performance from their side, but took to social media to berate Toral in particular for his lacklustre display.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Jon Toral is a fraud

One thing that sticks in my mind about Jon Toral is that he was Warburtons number 1 target.

Jon Toral is simply lazy. All the skill on Earth doesn't matter if you can't do more than jog back and forth on the pitch.

that Jon Toral looks like a bit of a dud signing…hope he proves me wrong!

There is absolutely no chance that Toral is on Arsenals books. Warburton must have seen him on the Emirates tour and brought him up here!

Toral finally off. After 91 minutes. Murty's last act in charge of the team is aptly one of idiocy.

Can arsenal recall toral?

Despite being dismissed by the club at the start of the month, ex-manager Mark Warburton continues to leave his mark at Ibrox.
Toral was one of the former Rangers chief’s signings in the January transfer window, and like many of his previous deals, has so far failed to impress the fanbase.
The 22-year-old is currently on loan from Arsenal until the end of the season, and has made five appearances since arriving at the club.
He was eventually withdrawn from proceedings by Graeme Murty in the 92nd-minute against Inverness, but fans were oblivious as to why he was not hooked earlier.
