Rangers fans react on Twitter as attacker misses Celtic clash

By Will Butcher

Rangers fans have questioned what else Joe Dodoo can do to earn a place in Pedro Caixinha’s starting line-up after being left out to of the side to face Celtic.

Dodoo, 21, has starred as a substitute in the Gers’ last two outings, scoring in the 3-0 win over Aberdeen at Pittodrie before impressing in the 2-0 win over Partick last weekend.

The former Leicester striker has only started two Scottish Premiership matches this season despite making 16 appearances in the league, with competition in the final third aplenty.

The likes of Martyn Waghorn, Joe Garner and Kenny Miller are all competing with the summer signing for a place in Pedro Caixinha’s attack.

But Portuguese boss Caixinha has made just two changes to his side, bringing Andy Halliday and Joe Garner into his starting eleven to face their bitter rivals.
