Rangers fans react on Twitter to Beerman display in humiliating Celtic defeat
By Matt Farr
Myles Beerman had another disastrous day at the office for Rangers during their humiliating 5-1 defeat to Celtic on Saturday – and fans on Twitter were not happy.
The 18-year-old had struggled during the 2-0 Scottish Cup semi final defeat against Celtic a week ago, but Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha opted to persist with his youngster for the latest clash at Ibrox.
However, the decision horribly backfired as Beerman and his Rangers team-mates were ripped apart by their undefeated Old Firm rivals.
Beerman was guilty of opening the floodgates for the home side, sliding in recklessly to bring down Patrick Roberts in the box and earn Celtic an early penalty.
Scott Sinclair stepped up to punish Rangers, and it got worse and worse for them as the match progressed.

Beerman is awful. Anyone who says he is a good player is kidding themselves

Still can't believe Beerman did that challenge. One of the most idiotic things I've ever seen.

Heavy missing Lee Wallace these last two weekends. No disrespect to Beerman but Wallace knows OF matches

Young Beerman given a lesson in the first 45! Hard to watch, for the lad.

Roberts v Beerman is one of the greatest mismatches I've seen in a long time. Looks like the boy won a competition to play.

Beerman, a Malta U21 international, has been promoted to the first team squad under Caixinha, appearing in Rangers’ last four games in all competitions.
But the full-back has delivered mixed displays, earning clean sheets in his first three appearances for the club at left-back, only to see that record tarnished by Celtic in their latest two outings
Sinclair, Leigh Griffiths, Callum McGregor, Dedryck Boyata and Mikael Lustig were all on the scoresheet during a miserable afternoon for Rangers, with veteran goalscorer Kenny Miller finding the back of the net for the home side.
