'Offers far more than Garner': Rangers fans react on Twitter to Dodoo display v Aberdeen
By Matt Farr
Jos Dodoo changed the game during a brief cameo display for Rangers against Aberdeen on Sunday – and fans on Twitter were delighted with his display.
The 21-year-old was introduced as a substitute with 20 minutes left on the clock, but made an immediate impact with a goal and assist to hand Rangers a crucial 3-0 win over their rivals.
Dodoo has to start a game under new Ibrox chief Pedro Caixinha, making just two substitute appearances from his four games in charge.
But his late masterclass against Aberdeen could give the Portuguese food for thought ahead of Rangers’ next clash with Partick Thistle in a week’s time.
The Rangers fans, however, were quick to show their appreciation for the attacker’s display, and took to Twitter to deliver their glowing verdicts.

If Dembele is worth £40 million, Dodoo must be £50 million?

Joe Dodoo at last showing what he may be capable of. Not a link player in MW style of game but a pacy, direct attacker. Confidence is key.

How composed is Dodoo. That pass and finish were superb.

Even before Caixinha arrived at Ibrox last month, Dodoo had struggled for regular first team football.
His predecessor, Mark Warburton, had brought the former Leicester youngster to the club at the start of the season, but then handed him just two Scottish Premiership starts from his 12 appearances.
The attacker has now scored five goals and supplied three assists in all competitions, and Rangers fans want to see him handed more regular opportunities.
A brace from Kenny Miller alongside Dodoo’s strike steered Rangers to a comfortable 3-0 victory.
The victory for Rangers keeps them in third place, but it narrows the gap behind second-placed Aberdeen to nine points.
