Rangers fans on Twitter feel as though newly appoint manager Pedro Caixinha’s decision to axe Lee Hodson from the line-up against Hamilton on Saturday is harsh.
The 25-year-old right-back played the full 90 minutes in last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Celtic, nullifying the attacking talents of Scott Sinclair down his side of the pitch.
Usual full-back James Tavernier played in the midfield against the Hoops, but Caixinha has decided to change it around for the Accies clash with Jon Toral making his return to the centre of the park, which has seen Tavernier fall back into the back four.
This has resulted in Hodson taking up a position on the bench after his strong display and a number of Rangers fans on social media have questioned the decision.
Some sections of the fan base have shared they feel sorry for the summer signing, while one stated it’s beyond him how Hodson doesn’t start on Saturday.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Hodson joined Rangers from League One side MK Dons in the summer for an undisclosed fee.
He has since featured 15 times for the club in all competitions, bringing a return of one goal and one assist from the defensive position.
