Rangers’ director of football target Paul Mitchell has reportedly already left Tottenham – and supporters of the Ibrox giants are intrigued by the development.
ESPN FC claim that Spurs placed the head of recruitment on gardening leave last month, allowing him free to find another job.
This comes after the Scottish Sun reported that the Mitchell was the new No1 target for the newly created director of football role at Rangers after after they failed to persuade Southampton’s Ross Wilson to move north of the border.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:
Paul Mitchell left spurs and rangers wanted him for DOF just saying

In other Rangers news, this is the huge sum lost by Mark Warburton after his behind-the-scenes manoeuvrings horribly backfired.
