Rangers fans stunned as new Ibrox image emerges online
Rangers fans have been wowed by new images as they near a return to Ibrox after spending the opening stages of the season at Hampden Park.
Rangers confirmed that they would return to Ibrox for the League Cup clash with Dundee on 21 September, although the Copland Stand will remain closed for the game.
Despite that, it is a step in the right direction and a huge relief for fans who have been kept away from the club’s home for months since the end of last season.
New images shared via social media show the stand renovations and the difference they have made, leaving fans marvelling at their updated stadium.
The stand had been expected to be completed over the summer, but issues with shipping materials had led to further delays which prolonged the fans’ wait.
However, as they near a return to their spiritual home, any frustrations have been brushed aside in favour of anticipation and excitement to be back at Ibrox.
Rangers fans wowed by ‘magnificent’ Ibrox development as new image emerges
It has been a slow start to the season for Rangers under Philippe Clement after winning just four of their first eight games of the season, including a heavy 3-0 defeat to Celtic.
With fans’ frustrations continuing to grow, a return to Ibrox will come as a welcome relief to ongoing issues both on and off the pitch.
Taking to social media after the new image emerged, fans are eagerly anticipating their return to Ibrox and have labelled the renovations “magnificent” and “beautiful”.
