
Rangers fans stunned by ‘unbelievable’ Celtic moment vs Hearts – ‘Corruption’
Rangers and rival fans were stunned by an “unbelievable” decision that was given to Celtic during their 3-0 win over Hearts on Saturday (4 May).
Brendan Rodgers’ side have opened up a six-point gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership table after a convincing victory at Parkhead.
Celtic overcame their poor record against Hearts to secure their 26th league win of the season and take a step closer to the title.
Kyogo Furuhashi was in fine form for the hosts, scoring twice in the first half to take his tally for the season up to 18 goals – Matt O’Riley secured the victory with a late penalty.
The league leaders were dominant for much of the match and controlled play against Steven Naismith’s side.
However, rival fans were baffled by one decision made by referee Kevin Clancy when he appeared to give the hosts a free-kick when two Celtic players collided.
Rangers and Hearts fans were furious on social media, with some fans accusing Celtic of “corruption” while others directed their anger towards Clancy.
