Rangers fans urge club to complete Shankland signing after source’s reveal

Rangers fans have pushed the club to sign Hearts attacker Lawrence Shankland this summer.

Their vocal support for this transfer comes after a source told Football Insider that the 28-year-old remains on the Gers’ transfer list.

Philippe Clement is in the market for a striker this summer as he looks to push the club to compete with Celtic next season.

The Rangers manager decided against pursuing Shankland in January, but he appears to have had a change of heart regarding him.

Shankland is entering the final year of his Hearts contract and could be available for a cheaper fee because of this.

The Scotland international has vast experience in the Scottish Premiership, and his ability to play in various positions makes him an attractive purchase.

Last season, Shankland scored 31 goals in all competitions while producing eight assists in 47 appearances for Hearts.

Rangers fans want the ‘best striker in the league’ in Lawrence Shankland

Clement has made it clear that Rangers will have to sell players to make any transfers this summer due to the club’s financial restraints.

However, after a tough Champions League qualification draw the fan pressure is mounting on the Gers to do some business.
