Rangers fans have been forced to endure a parade of mercenaries, journeymen and outright flops over the last six years as the Ibrox giants lurched from financial crisis to expulsion from the Scottish Premiership to climbing back up through the leagues as a newco.
Gers fans have somehow retained their sense of humour over the shambles their club have been over the last six years and counting – known to fans as the ‘Banter Years’ – as they try to get back to the top of Scottish football and lift a 55th league title.
