'It's coming from somewhere' - Rangers star speaks out about reported Ibrox leaks

By James Black

Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has confirmed there are leaks within the Ibrox dressing-room – and admitted he doesn’t think the club have rooted out the source of the leak yet.

Veteran striker Kenny Miller was recently banished to the club’s Under-20 squad after reportedly passing information from a meeting in the wake of the 2-0 defeat to Celtic before manager Pedro Caixinha then accused an un-named source of leaking his team to St. Johnstone ahead of the sides meeting last May.

Foderingham admits it’s not a perfect scenario but believes the Rangers players need to just get on with their business and concentrate on results.

“Anything said in the dressing room or in a meeting should stay there; I don’t think we’re at the bottom of it at the minute,” Foderingham told BT Sports, as quoted by The Scotsman website.
“It’s not ideal at all but it’s part of football.
“It’s coming from somewhere, whether it’s players or staff.
“But our job is to focus on the football and let other people take care of those things.”
Caixinha has been very strong on dealing with information getting out of his dressing-room and was furious when details of the Old Firm de-brief found their way onto the back-page of a Scottish newspaper.
Miller was nowhere to be seen again last night after being fingered as the source of that particular leak and also missed the 4-1 win over Hamilton before the international break as Caixinha takes a hard-line.
Former Swindon keeper Foderinham has been a key player for Rangers over the last 18 months and recently signed a new contract to extend his stay with the Ibrox giants.
Foderingham has gone on to make 104 appearances for the Light Blues since moving north in the summer of 2015 and is the undispute number one at Ibrox.
The shot-stopper will likely sit-out next weekend’s League Cup semi-final with Jak Anwick taking the gloves in the competition so far this season.

In other Rangers news, a £7.5million midfielder is firmly in the running to be the club’s next signing.
