Rangers may bin Kemar Roofe after confirmed news - Agbonlahor
Gabby Agbonlahor has suggested Kemar Roofe is one of a number of Rangers fringe players they need to upgrade this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker delivered his verdict after Roofe’s poor display in the Gers’ 2-1 loss to Celtic on Sunday (3 April).
The 29-year-old was handed a starting berth at Ibrox with Alfredo Morelos out with an injury he picked up on international duty.
Rangers confirmed on Tuesday (5 April) Morelos will now miss the rest of the season after undergoing an operation on a thigh injury.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst will have to decide whether Roofe keeps his place up front against Braga tomorrow night (7 April) or whether Fashion Sakala or Cedric Itten should lead the ine.
“I feel like Braga are going to give them a real tough game,”

“They have got the fight Rangers but I just think quality-wise, when a couple of their top players are injured they haven’t got the players to come in.
“It will be a very tough game. Rangers have got a good manager and a group of players who will still fight but I still think they need to make changes in the summer to bridge the gap with Celtic.
“I do like Roofe but against Celtic he was getting some poor service. Balls fired in and around his neck. Carter-Vickers must have loved that challenge.”
Roofe has scored 12 goals in 31 games across all competitions this term.
The former Leeds striker is under contract at Ibrox until the summer of 2024.
