Rangers news: Michael Beale sends three-word message to his ex-player
Michael Beale took to social media to praise Fulham star Harry Wilson with the former Rangers boss impressed with his two late goals against Brentford.
Wilson, 27, scored twice in added time to secure a remarkable 2-1 comeback win for the home side and send them up to ninth in the Premier League.
The Wales international is yet to start a Premier League game for Fulham this season, with Marco Silva favouring Alex Iwobi on the right wing.
With four wins, three draws, and three defeats from their opening ten league games, it’s been an impressive start to the campaign for the West Londoners.
Harry Wilson gets seal of approval from former Rangers boss Michael Beale
Beale, 44, coached Wilson during his time with the Liverpool academy before joining Steven Gerrard’s staff at Rangers.
Widely regarded as the brains behind the club’s 2020-21 Scottish Premier League win, Beale became manager in November 2022 but was sacked after just two months.
He has been without a job following his dismissal by Sunderland after just 12 games in charge back in February 2024 but took to Instagram to let Wilson know how proud he is.

Now with Philippe Clement at the helm, Rangers are lagging even further behind their Old Firm rivals Celtic on and off the pitch.
Nine points of the pace in the Scottish Premier League and a £17.2million operating loss leave the club with some serious work to do this season.
