Rangers player ratings v Celtic: Defender is 4/10

Football Insider rates the Rangers players after their 2-1 defeat against Celtic in the Scottish Premiership clash.
Wes Foderingham 7 – The goalkeeper can’t be blamed for either of Celtic’s goals and still made some good saves in the second-half.
Clint Hill 7 – Showed his experience at the back and was dominant in the aerial battles, the team’s best defender in the match.
Rob Kiernan 5 – The weakest member of the back three and struggled with the pace and power of the Celtic attackers.
Danny Wilson 6 – He managed to maintain most of the Celtic attack, but was sloppy in possession.

James Tavernier 4 – The full-back produced the assist for Kenny Miller’s goal with a great low driven cross, but was caught out defensively on a few occasions and was nowhere for Scott Sinclair’s winner.
Josh Windass 8 – He produced a perfectly weighted pass in the build up for Rangers’ first goal which cut open the Celtic defence, also was positive in possession. Taken off in the second-half as he was on a yellow card.
Andy Halliday 6 – Combative display from the central midfielder and excelled in the first-half. Was pegged back in the second along with all his team-mates.
Jason Holt 6 – He showed a lot of positivity going forward and tested the goalkeeper on a couple of occasions. Much improved from his performance against St Johnstone.
Barrie McKay 9 – The winger was Rangers’ best outlet all game and terrorised the opposition’s defence. He completed several dribbles and the most lively player on the pitch.
Kenny Miller 7 – The veteran forward scored the opening goal with a brilliant poachers goal as he timed his run to perfection and tapped in on the goal line. He showed his experience and desire during the match, but was unable to spark a comeback.
Joe Garner 6 – The striker was forced off on a stretcher early in the first-half with a suspected shoulder injury.

Harry Forrester (for Holt 82mins) 6
