Rangers player ratings v Aberdeen: Senior player 5/10 after Pittodrie win

COMMENT

Rangers have overtaken Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership standings to move up to second after a 2-1 win for Graeme Murty’s side at Pittodrie on Sunday.

Back-to-back wins over the Dons means the Gers leapfrog them on goal difference and only have Celtic above them in the table.

The Gers dominated much of the game before Ryan Jack’s red card set up a nervy ending for the Light Blues.

Danny Wilson opened the scoring for the Gers after 14 minutes with a fantastic looping header from Declan John’s free-kick.

Jack picked up his fourth red card of the season after following through on a challenge on Stevie May.

The Gers doubled their lead through Josh Windass when the former Accrington star poked home Daniel Candeias’ cross.
