COMMENT
Rangers have again closed the gap to Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic to six points with a comprehensive 4-1 win over St. Johnstone on Tuesday night at a snowy McDiarmid Park.

Josh Windass then doubled the Gers’ lead after 24 minutes when he finished off a fantastic passing move by the Light Blues and burst through the Saints defence to fire beyond Mannus from Greg Docherty’s inch-perfect pass.
The Gers were cruising before half-time when Sean Goss curled home a second free-kick goal from the edge of the since signing on loan from QPR.
Ten minutes after the break it was 4-0 when Morelos netted a sensational header from Tavernier’s cross to re-take his place as the Scottish Premiership top goal-scorer.
Jason Kerr headed home from a corner to give the hosts a glimmer of hope but it was too little, too late for the Saints.
With Old Firm rivals Celtic not in action until Wednesday night, Murty’s side will be hoping closing to six points behinds puts a bit more pressure on Brendan Rodgers’ side ahead of their clash with Dundee.
