Rangers must only accept astronomical bid for midfielder after reported English interest

Rangers midfielder Jordan Rossiter has returned to full training as he attempts to launch another comeback from the injuries that have blighted his spell at Ibrox.
The former Liverpool midfielder has been restricted to a handful of appearances across two seasons in Scotland but could finally be on his way back to full fitness.
Rossiter’s reputation before heading to Ibrox has had fans desperate to see the midfielder in action regularly after comparisons with Liverpool and England icon Steven Gerrard.
According to the Daily Record, English League One side Wigan could be set to swoop for the Scouser but the Gers should reject any bids for the 20-year-old unless they are astronomical.
While Rossiter has found it hard to keep himself fit for anything more than a month or two at a time since his Ibrox move, the 20-year-old should be given a chance to show why the Gers were so keen to land him from the Anfield giants.
Rossiter has several years left on his Ibrox contract and if in 12 months Rossiter is still on the treatment table then it might be time for the Gers to cut their losses but right now Rossiter’s potential should see him kept at Ibrox for the time being.
In other Rangers news, fans have reacted after this midfield dynamo underwent a medical to complete his switch.
