‘Rangers make Ross McCausland exit decision amid Mikey Moore developments’
Ross McCausland is set for the Rangers exit door as Russell Martin continues to strengthen his ranks at Ibrox.
The Bears’ summer additions have already made an impact for Martin’s men, as Djeidi Gassama scored on debut in a 2-0 win over Panathinaikos in the first leg of a Champions League qualifier on Tuesday, 22 July.
As well as the former Sheffield Wednesday man, the Light Blues have also acquired the likes of ex-Bournemouth midfielder Joe Rothwell.
But as Martin aims to build a side that can beat fierce rivals Celtic to the Scottish Premiership title, he will have to facilitate further player exits.

McCausland set for exit door as Rangers close in on Moore and Finland star
Amid the Ibrox outfit’s efforts to bolster their ranks, Rangers have received multiple approaches for McCausland.
The Northern Ireland international made just four starts for the Gers in the Scottish Premiership last term, and could enjoy more minutes elsewhere.
Meanwhile, the Daily Telegraph’s Matt Law revealed via X on Monday, 28 July: “Rangers have emerged as favourites to sign Mikey Moore on loan from Tottenham.
“There’s been a lot of interest, particularly from the Championship, but Rangers seen as most likely destination.”
The 17-year-old has emerged as an up-and-coming talent for Tottenham, while a move north of the border would further his development.
But Moore is not the only right-winger who Martin has set his sights on, as the Daily Record reported on Sunday, 27 July, with Rangers set to sign Go Ahead Eagles star and Finland international Oliver Antman.
Signing both Moore and Antman would hand the Ibrox club the opportunity they need to part company with McCausland.

Adding both Moore and Antman to his squad would hand Martin even more of the tools he needs to ensure that he clinches silverware in his first season in charge of Rangers.

The Tottenham starlet’s exploits for the North London side, particularly in last season’s Europa League, where he helped Spurs to glory by notching one goal and an assist in five appearances, suggest that he should be a real asset in the Scottish Premiership.
Meanwhile, Antman produced a strong return of six goals and 16 assists in 36 outings for Dutch outfit Go Ahead Eagles last term, and can thrive for Martin’s side.
Contrastingly, McCausland’s limited game time last term under both Philippe Clement and Barry Ferguson suggests that he may not have what it takes to fire Rangers back to their glory days.
Elsewhere, Cardiff City’s Jack Sykes has been backed to pass his medical amid interest from Martin’s men in an Ibrox News exclusive.
