Rangers continued their preparations for the second-half of the Scottish Premiership season when they came from behind to beat Brazilian side Corinthians in a stunning 4-2 victory in their final game of the Florida Cup.
Unlike the previous game against Atletico Mineiro, manager Graeme Murty only made seven half-time changes with Wes Foderingham, Fabio Cardoso, James Tavernier and Dalcio surviving after the break.
The Gers looked much better in the second-half and got themselves back into the game when Alfredo Morelos fired home the first of his double from a Sean Goss’ free-kick just after an hour to make the score 2-1.
The Ibrox side took the game by the scruff of the neck and blitzed their opposition with four unanswered second-half goals.
Andy Halliday levelled the scores before Morelos’ second and a strike from James Tavernier left the Gers with maximum points from their two games and leaves them in pole position to with the Florida Cup.
Manager Graeme Murty will be delighted with the way his side turned the game around after going two goals down in the opening period against quality opposition.
