Rangers had some special guests at their Auchenhowie training ground on Wednesday – as Bayern Munich used it to put their stars through their paces after they beat Celtic the night before.
A little over 12 hours after beating the Gers’ Old Firm rivals in the Champions League, Jupp Heynckes’ side were at the Auchenhowie training base preparing for this weekend’s clash with Borussia Dortmund.
The European giants sealed their place in the last-16 of the Champions League with their win over Celtic but had little time to rest as they immediately got back on the training ground.
Some of Bayern’s biggest stars were on show with the likes of Arjen Robben and Mats Hummels put through a vigorous training session before returning to Germany later on Wedesday afternoon.
A number of Rangers players were spotted watching the Bavarians practice in pictures posted by the Ibrox club on their official Twitter account.

Danny Wilson, Josh Windass and Fabio Cardoso were all spotted having a peek at the Germans’ practice as they prepared for their own clash with Partick Thistle at Ibrox on Saturday.
It’s not the first time Rangers have allowed visiting sides to use their multi-million-pound complex in Milngavie with Juventus, the Netherlands and the United States all having trained there before fixtures in Scotland.
Fans of the Light Blues will be hoping Bayern accidentally took Windass back to Germany with them.
