Rangers star Fabio Silva savaged by fans for ‘blatant cheating’
Rangers star Fabio Silva has been mocked for unnecessarily diving in their win against Hearts on Sunday afternoon (21 April).
Philippe Clement’s side secured their spot in the final of the Scottish Cup with a 2-0 win thanks to a stunning brace from Cyriel Dessers.
However, opposition fans were quick to slaughter Silva for seemingly diving instead of taking advantage of a golden chance to get on the scoresheet.
In the closing moments of the Hampden Park showdown, Dessers sent the ball into the box towards the unmarked Silva.

However, the 21-year-old collapsed to the ground under no pressure from the Hearts defence before the ball was quickly ushered away from Craig Gordon’s net.
Silva came on from the bench as a 63rd-minute substitute for Rabbi Matondo, but he failed to have any noticeable impact and extended his goal drought to eight games in all competitions.
Fans have taken to social media to slaughter the Wolves loanee’s tumble, and some are adamant that it was the “worst dive” in the history of the sport.
