Jason Cummings fires back in hilarious Twitter spat with Rangers team-mate
Rangers striker Jason Cummings has blasted back at team-mate Josh Windass after the 17-goal attacker offered to sign Cummings up for free English lessons.
Windass jokingly offered to sign the on-loan Nottingham Forest star up to the lessons after seeing them advertised on Twitter but Cummings looks like has has got the last laugh.
The 22-year-old responded to Windass’ comment by poking fun at him for famously telling RangersTV that he likes omelette but doesn’t like eggs – among other utterly ridiculous things.
“You think an omelette isn’t an egg mate,” Cummings said on his personal Twitter account, quoting Windass’ original comment.

Cummings and Windass appear to have struck up a good relationship since Cummings’ arrival at Ibrox in January from Nottingham Forest and their latest back and forth will no doubt have fans in stitches.
Windass has hit the net 17 times this season for the Gers while Cummings has scored five times since his move back north of the border.

Football Insider verdict:
It’s fair to say Cummings wins that round. After Windass told RangersTV he liked omelette but didn’t like eggs and appeared to be genuinely confused when informed a hen and a cockerel were just male and female chickens, it was probably inevitable it would be brought up and used against him. It’ll take the 24-year-old a while to live those comments down – and even longer fans to forget them. Still, the positive vibe coming from the Gers’ squad is a good sign of a strong dynamic within the group and bodes well for the future.
