'Better players in that league' - Rangers ace Cummings delivers verdict on Nottm Forest stint

New Rangers ace Jason Cummings insists he is a better player for the six months he spent with Nottingham Forest in the English Championship.
Cummings joined Forest over the summer but struggled to hold down a regular first-team place at the City Ground before completing a loan move to Rangers last week.
The former Hibs striker was a long-term target of Forest boss Mark Warburton but the Englishman’s sacking meant Cummings faced an even bigger struggle to force his way into the starting XI.
The 22-year-old insists he has improved playing with and against “better players” and “can’t wait” to show it for the Gers.
“I have learnt a lot down there, playing with better players, against better players in that league and in bigger stadiums,” Cummings said, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account.
“My overall game has got better and I can’t wait to show it here.”

Cummings scored four times in 17 appearances for Forest after his summer switch from Hibs but only started seven games.
The former Hibs striker scored 71 times in 149 appearances for the Easter Road side and recently picked up his first cap for Scotland in the friendly with the Netherlands at Pittodrie in November.
The Gers have an agreement in place to make Cummings’ move permanent in the summer if he impresses during his six months with the 54-times Scottish champions.
Cummings could make his debut for the Gers on Wednesday night when they take on Aberdeen at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.
In other Rangers news, fans have reacted after this midfield dynamo underwent a medical to complete his switch.
