Josh Windass posts hilarious Twitter message after Rangers steal win v Hibernian

Rangers star Josh Windass has posted a hilarious cartoon image of a robber after Rangers stole a 2-1 win over Hibernian at Easter Road on Wednesday night.

The Gers scored twice in four minutes though Windass and Colombian striker to take the lead after falling behind to a ninth minute goal from Neil Lennon’s side.

Hibs put Rangers under huge amounts of pressure throughout the 90 minutes as they tried to get back into the game but the Ibrox side managed to hold on and secure three points.

Windass took to Twitter to post the hilarious comment shortly after the full-time whistle and seemingly agreed that the Gers got lucky against Hibs.

“Hopefully no one sees us,” Windass said in a Tweet alongside a cartoon of a robber on his personal Twitter account.

Despite not being at their best, the Gers survived falling behind for a second consecutive game to turn the scoreline around and pick up the win.

Murty’s side have been criticised in the past for lacking the mentality to grind out wins however wins over Aberdeen, Ross County and Hibs have cast doubt over that now.

The win was the Gers’ fourth consecutive win as they continued their recent run of good form which leaves them five points off Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic with a trip to their Old Firm rivals looming at the end of the month.
